IMPORTANT: To comply with state law (see below), all newly admitted and returning students who are registered for at least 75% of a full course load for the annual 2022-2023 plan MUST go online to either waive out of or enroll in the annual insurance plan no later than the deadline date of September 23, 2022.
If you are a new or returning student who did not meet the insurance criteria in the fall term but have enrolled in at least 75% of your program's full-time course load for the spring term, you will be charged $2,143. The policy is in effect from January 1, 2023 through July 31, 2023.
Massachusetts state law requires that all students enrolled in at least 75% of their program's full-time course load at an institution of higher learning in Massachusetts must participate in a Student Health Insurance Program (SHIP) or in a health insurance plan with comparable coverage. Massachusetts colleges and universities are required to sponsor a health plan for students who do not have health insurance. A charge is added to a student's account in the fall term based on criteria mentioned above.
