How to Get Emergency Support After Regular Business Hours
Salem State University has a Care and Concern Team who review, intervene and document issues, incidents or students that are presenting serious concerning behaviors.
As a result of your referral, you will hear from a member of the Care and Concern team to discuss your concern further and share actions to address the situation.
Your referral will assist us in evaluating the situation and connecting the student to appropriate resources. To learn more about the Care and Concern Team or to share a concern please contact Elisa Castillo, PhD, assistant dean of students at 978.542.6401.
The 24/7 MH Support Line 978.542.8327 is a confidential resource for students who need access to after-hours or urgent mental health support on a variety of issues. Parents, staff and faculty can all access this line regarding a student of concern.
