Monday, November 3

Salem State University’s Master of Social Work (MSW) program offers students a comprehensive learning experience focused on integrated practice for physical, mental, and behavioral health. With three different study plans, you can create a unique learning experience through electives and practicum experiences and complete the program in optional time frames that suit your lifestyle and professional goals. During this one-hour session, you’ll hear from Graduate Admissions representatives as well as current MSW students and faculty members.

Applying for a graduate degree program is a big step toward your future, and we understand that financing this journey can be overwhelming. But there are many ways to navigate the graduate financial aid process and fund your degree. This session will include a presentation from a Graduate Financial Aid representative and a Graduate Assistantship representative!

We welcome you to this session where you’ll learn more about Salem State’s robust graduate programming in Occupational Therapy (OT) and Athletic Training (AT). We’ll provide more information about these distinct fields and how our programs will prepare you for additional certifications and related careers. You’ll also connect with representatives from the OT and AT departments as well as from Graduate Admissions to get all of your questions answered.

The humanities are thriving at Salem State University! During this session, you’ll learn about our MA, MAT, and dual degree MA/MAT programs in both English and History, as well as three of our graduate certificate programs in Writing and Rhetoric, Digital Studies, and Holocaust and Genocide Studies. These programs help students further develop the critical reading, writing, and thinking skills to advance their careers, earn licensure, and take steps to pursuing doctoral studies and beyond.

5 PM EST | ZOOM 

Do you already have a career in business, or are you just getting started and want to learn more? During this session, we’ll host two breakout groups for Salem State’s business pathways, including the Master of Business Administration program, the Master of Science in Accounting program, and the Graduate Certificate in Accounting program. Business Program Coordinators and Graduate Admissions staff will be available to answer your questions!

Considering a career in student affairs administration, a profession that supports college students and promotes learning outside of the classroom? Come learn about Salem State’s Master of Education in Higher Education in Student Affairs (HESA) - the only program of its kind offered at a public institution in the Boston metropolitan area – directly from the Graduate Program Coordinator and a Graduate Admissions representative.

7 PM EST | ZOOM 

Interested in the fields of Behavior Analysis, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or Counseling? During this session, attendees will visit breakout groups where we’ll explore these pathways and you’ll learn how to achieve your professional goals within the field. You’ll have the chance to choose which program you’d like to learn more about, and you’ll be able to connect with Program Coordinators and Graduate Admissions representatives.
