As full members of the Salem State University community, CIS students participate in activities and programs across campus, from Starbucks runs to e-sports, working out at the Gassett Fitness Center, meeting with Peer Mentors, and so much more.
Residence Life
Available through a separate application process, some CIS students choose to live in Salem State residence halls. Resident students must complete a four-week summer seminar on how to successfully adapt to the independence of living on campus. They also enroll in three courses and participate in an expanded internship experience. In addition to their weekly meetings with a Community Life Coordinator, resident students also have the support of their coach, resident assistant and peer mentors.
