Public Service Internship Scholarships

The Frederick E. Berry Institute of Politics aims to engage and inspire a diverse community of learners to pursue careers in political and public service. Inspired by Senator Fred Berry’s legacy, we work to create entry points and break down barriers for all students by awarding competitive scholarship offerings in the areas of government, politics, civic engagement, non-profit and other means of public service. We have awarded over $160,000 in student scholarships.

Past scholarship awardees have completed internships locally and nationally in the areas of sustainability, public safety, immigration, journalism, law, healthcare, politics, and other areas of public service. Contact the Berry IOP for more information on how to apply for an internship scholarship.
