Nate Bryant, EdD, Chief of Staff to the President, ext. 6134.
Mr. Bryant '87, '93G joined Salem State in 1987 and today brings his 30 years of leadership at the university to his role as chief of staff. He has previously held the positions of assistant dean of the Center for Academic Excellence, assistant dean of students for the office of student life, and director of undergraduate admissions. Mr. Bryant received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Salem State in 1987, his master’s in education from Salem State in 1993, and his doctorate in higher education from the University of Massachusetts – Boston in 2016. A resident of Salem, Mr. Bryant has served his community in various capacities, including a former role on the Salem School Committee.
Kimberly Burnett, Public Relations Associate, ext. 3043
Born and raised in New Jersey, Ms. Burnett is a graduate of Monmouth University where she majored in English and minored in anthropology and geography, mixing her two passions: writing and travel. Following college, Ms. Burnett entered the world of journalism, reporting for two years at The Coast Star and The Ocean Star newspapers along the Jersey Shore before moving to Boston and beginning her career in public relations at Salem State. During her time at The Ocean Star, Ms. Burnett won two awards for her writing from the New Jersey Press Association.
Nicole Giambusso, Director of Public Relations, ext. 3019
Nicole Giambusso joined Salem State University in 2016, bringing about a decade of experience working in public relations, in government and on political campaigns. Prior to joining the university, she spent five years at O’Neill and Associates, a Boston-based public relations and public affairs agency. Ms. Giambusso resides in Salem and is a graduate of Rhode Island College, where she studied communications and political science.
Adria Leach, Director of External Affairs, ext. 7524
Adria joined Salem State University in July of 2003. In her current role, which she has held since 2012, she is responsible for external relations including government, town-gown, business, community, and neighborhood relations. She works closely with government officials, state agencies, and individuals and groups both on and off campus, providing avenues for collaboration between the university and the greater community. Prior to joining the president’s office, she worked in the university’s marketing and communications office. She joined the university community after working in advertising and marketing for two years. Adria holds a MEd in elementary education from Salem State and a BA in psychology from Bates College. She serves on the board of directors for the Boston North Cancer Association, North Shore Community Development Coalition and Salem Chamber of Commerce.
Lynne Montague, Special Assistant to the President and Secretary to the Board of Trustees, ext. 6134
Lynne Montague is a Suffolk University graduate, and long-time Salem resident with over 13 years of government experience. Prior to joining the university, she served as deputy legislative director for the Patrick Administration, chief of staff to State Representative John Keenan and executive secretary to the city of Salem Mayor.
Katrina (Katie) Economou Sadowski
Katrina Economou Sadowski, Senior Assistant, President's Office and Assistant Secretary to the Board of Trustees, ext. 6134
Prior to arriving at Salem State in 2015, Katrina (Katie) Economou Sadowski was the director/liaison to the president’s office for the division of development and alumni relations at The George Washington University. She previously worked for former U.S. Representative John Tierney (MA-6). Katie holds a certificate in PAC and political management from The George Washington University, and a BA in political science and communications from Stonehill College.
