Construction activities are focused on continued structural, roofing, masonry, and interior buildout work at Horace Mann Hall, including roof replacement, steel installation, masonry restoration, geothermal utility work, partition framing, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-in activities. Meier Hall Addition
At the Meier Hall Addition, crews will continue below-grade utility installation, foundation and slab preparations, exterior framing and sheathing, and begin interior wall construction. Decarbonization Project Update
The next three weeks focus on advancing underground utility infrastructure for the geothermal wells, continued excavation and concrete activities at the Upper Quad, structural steel work at the Central Utility Plant and preparation for upcoming electrical shutdowns scheduled on Saturday, August 8 between 7 am-3 pm at the Administration Building, Sullivan Building, North Campus Dining, Meier Hall, Berry Library and Learning Commons, as well as Peabody Hall and Garage.
