Successful entrepreneurs continually seek ways to improve the management and operation of their business, often seeking outside advice to help with particular challenges.

The Massachusetts Small Business Development Center Network is committed to helping your business succeed in Massachusetts. We provide free, confidential, one-to-one business assistance and free or low-cost educational training programs to prospective and existing small businesses.

Free and Confidential Business Advising

Areas of assistance include, but are not limited to: business plan development, preventure feasibility, buying or selling a business, cash flow analysis, personnel and organizational issues, conventional and non-conventional financing, and marketing.

In addition, our office works closely with the two MSBDC specialty centers, the Massachusetts Export Center for international trade assistance and the APEX Accelerator Program (formerly PTAC) for government contracting.

The MSBDC Northeast Regional Office provides free and confidential business assistance to prospective and existing small businesses located in the North Shore and Merrimack Valley areas of the state. Certified business advisors provide services virtually and at outreach locations.

Services

A full-time staff of business advisors provide free and confidential advisory services to small businesses. We provide assistance to individuals contemplating a business venture, along with new, existing, expanding and troubled businesses.

Areas of assistance include, but is not limited to: start-up businesses, business plan development, financial plan development, marketing and sales strategies, cash flow analysis, organizational and personnel issues.

Training Seminars and Events

The MSBDC Northeast Regional Office conducts free and low-cost training addressing a wide range of concerns for both start-up and existing businesses. Pre-registration is required for all events.
