If Your College Has Closed

Salem State University is committed to helping you complete your bachelor’s degree. Admissions and transfer services counselors are available to help you transition to Salem State. Due to your university closure, you may be exempt from completing Salem State’s General Education requirement. This is dependent on the academic work you have already completed. Salem State University can also transfer up to 90 credits.  

This is consistent with our mission to serve the students of the Commonwealth and consistent with the academic benefits we already extended to our sister institutions in the Massachusetts public system of higher education.
