My name is Sharon German, I am a Transfer Connections Coach for Salem State University. I guide prospective students through the transfer process and provide support throughout your entire educational journey to bachelor’s degree completion. Whether it is how to fill out an application, which classes to register for, or deciding on a major, I am here to help!

Salem State University's (SSU) Transfer Fellow Scholarship provides $3,000 to full- and part-time students who transfer to Salem State with an associate degree from Northern Essex Community College (NECC) and North Shore Community College (NSCC). Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to further your education and save!

Qualifications

Graduate of NECC or NSCC (complete the associate's degree at the community college and then transfer to SSU within a year of graduating)
Enrolled in the Day Program at SSU
Both in and out-of-state students qualify
Consecutive enrollment (Fall and Spring)
FAFSA completed each year (before the start of classes)
Complete the bachelor's degree within five years of transferring to SSU
Good academic standing (2.0+)
Enroll in at least two classes per semester
