Dual Admission Participation

If you’re completing your associate degree at Northern Essex or North Shore Community College and plan to earn your bachelor’s at Salem State, submit the Dual Admissions Participation Form:

Transfer Connections Fellow Scholarship

$3,000 toward your bachelor’s degree at Salem State University

The Transfer Fellow Scholarship offers $3,000 to full- and part-time students transferring to Salem State with an associate degree from NECC or NSCC. Advance your education while keeping costs low!

Eligibility Requirements

  • Earn an associate degree at NECC or NSCC and transfer to SSU within one year of graduating
  • Enroll in SSU’s day program
  • Open to in-state and out-of-state students
  • Maintain consecutive enrollment (fall and spring)
  • Submit the FAFSA annually (before classes starting)
  • Complete your bachelor’s degree within five years of transferring
  • Stay in good academic standing (2.0+ GPA)
  • Enroll in at least two classes per semester
