“During my internship, my role was implementing and delivering a physical fitness program designed to improve the quality of life of survivors of acquired brain injuries. I learned everything about acquired brain injuries (ABI’s), traumatic brain injuries (TBI’s), strokes, and how resistance training has been implemented into rehabilitation programs across the nation. My internship has helped guide me in my pursuit to change the world through fitness, and it has created a strong foundation to build on when I attend chiropractic school and I start dealing with subluxations of the spine and functional loss of different parts of the body.”

“Through my internship at Supportive Living, Inc., I have learned a great deal of patience and perseverance. I also learned to never let what someone think you can do, stop you from pushing harder. Each day is something new at my internship. Even though I see the same clients each week, we are constantly being challenged to push down barriers. My future goals are to ensure that each client is reaching and striving toward their goals, and to be the best version of themselves.”
