Careers in Biology

Biology is the study of living organisms and their interactions. Using the scientific method, biologists ask questions, make observations, design experiments, and evaluate results to solve problems and further understand our world.

Some of the careers in biology include:

Education: colleges and university, primary and secondary education, public education  (zoos, parks and aquariums)
Conservation Biology and Environmental Management: park rangers, zoologists, botanists
Health Professions: doctors, dentists, veterinarians, nursing, medical technology, public health
Research: colleges and universities, governmental agencies, hopitals, private industry
