Payments and Due Dates

All Non-Degree Seeking Students

  • Salem State's student accounts team generates monthly eBilling statements, and students will be emailed when the eBill is ready for viewing.

Non-Payment Drop Policy

  • All non-matriculating/non-degree students whose balance is unpaid will be dropped from the course 10 days prior to the term/session start date.
  • All non-matriculating/non-degree students who register within 10 days of the term/session start date will be required to make payment in full or create a payment plan at the time of registration. Students who do not pay in full or are not on an established payment plan will be dropped from the course within one business day.
  • Students in the following categories are excluded from this policy: dual enrollment, non-credit, and guest students (e.g., Study Abroad, NECCUM).

Degree-seeking students may choose to pay at the time of registration or may be billed for their coursework.

Upon registering for classes, a monthly eBill will be generated. Monthly eBills are always available for viewing on the second Tuesday of the month. A notification will be sent to your Salem State email address informing you that an eBill is available through your Navigator account. No paper bills will be generated. Payments can be made online through your Navigator account, in person or by mail.

Failure to comply with the university's payment due dates will result in late payment penalties.

Please Note: You will be emailed when your statement is available.
