Visiting Undergraduate Registration
Salem State offers many courses throughout the year — including summer and winter — whose credits you can apply to an undergraduate degree at another school.
Visiting undergraduates can register for summer classes beginning on March 2.
Visiting undergraduates can register for continuing education classes on April 6 and day classes beginning on July 1.
If You Have Never Registered or Applied to Salem State
We make it easy for visiting students like you. Use our First-Time Self-Service tool, which lets you create a student account and register online.
If You Have Registered Before
If you have previously applied to or taken classes at Salem State, you will not be able to use the First-Time Self-Service System. To reactivate your student account, select "Account Help" from the Navigator login page to reset your password, or contact the Student Navigation Center.

Use class search to find classes that fit your interests and schedule.
Talk to Your Advisor
Even though you are visiting and are not working with an advisor at Salem State, you should confirm with advisors at your own school that the credits you take here will transfer. Many schools require minimum grades and departmental approval.
Register for your class in Navigator after going through the self-service process or reactivating your account.
