Commencement 2022

Ceremony schedule announced by Provost Silva

This message was sent to the Salem State campus community on March 31, 2022 from Provost Silva:

Dear Campus Community:

On behalf of the Commencement Planning Team, I am pleased to share the 2022 Commencement Ceremony schedule. This year we will be celebrating nearly 2,000 graduates from the Class of 2022 at ceremonies held May 19 – 21, 2022. The university is returning to a more traditional commencement ceremony format for the first time since the onset of the pandemic, and we could not be more excited!

I would like to extend a heartfelt “thank you” to Bruce Perry, Maria Machado, and the entire Commencement Planning Team for all their hard work in getting us to this stage of the planning process, and for their continued engagement leading up to the big days. Well done!

Please be sure to read the important information appearing immediately below the ceremony schedule; it includes updates on working at and participating in the events.
