What made you choose Salem State?
Both of my parents went here, and I had heard nothing but amazing things about the theatre program.
What are three words you would use to describe the Viking community? Why?
Strong, loud and committed. The community stands up for each other and speaks out for what they believe in.
What is one thing you think a prospective student should know about Salem State?
There are so many resources available here. If you’re ever struggling with anything, there is an office that can help you.
What have you done at Salem State that you are most proud of?
Getting inducted into four honor societies in two years.
How would you describe the professors at Salem State?
Friendly and empathetic. They truly see me as a human being, not just a student.
What has been your favorite class to take?
Modern Dance III.
What is your favorite place on campus?
The Trio Computer Lab.
What is your favorite memory at Salem State?
I made so many friends on my very first day of classes. Everyone was so welcoming.
Do you live in a residence hall or commute? What has been your favorite part about living on campus or commuting?
I commute. My favorite part about it is getting to go home and tell my parents all about my day.
How do you feel Salem State has helped you get career-ready?
I now know how to write a cover letter correctly, and I have updated professional headshots that were free. I also know that there’s a giant alumni network ready and willing to help me find a job.
