Q & A with prize-winning Director David Abel will follow film

Salem State's week of Earth Days events closes with a blockbuster film: Inundation District. The film explores the implications of Boston’s decision to ignore the threats posed by climate change and spend billions of dollars building a new waterfront district — on landfill, at sea level, and in the bullseye of rising seas. While Boston refers to this area as the Innovation District, accelerating sea-level rise has many dubbing the neighborhood the Inundation District.

Immediately following the 79-minute film, there will be a brief break for pizza and then a Q&A with Pulitzer Prize Winner Reporter/Director David Abel.  This event is free and open to all.  This event is co-sponsored by the Salem Alliance for the Environment.
