Salem State University offers the right undergraduate or graduate course options to fit your needs. You can take courses during the day, in the evening, on the weekends, and online—all year round. You can be a full-time student or a part-time student, whatever works for you.
New students will need to use the first time self-service registration to create a Navigator account before registration.
Priority registration for degree-seeking students is now underway and on Monday, March 5 for non-degree students (open registration). The class schedule is currently available in class search.
To find summer courses, make sure to:
- Select sessions Six Week-First for Summer I classes (May 21 - June 30)
- Select sessions Six Week-Second for Summer II classes (July 9 - August 18)
- Select 12 Week for full summer classes (May 21 - August 18)
- If you are looking for one-week institute courses, search on session Institute 1st Half and Institute 2nd Half.
All undergraduate summer courses are offered through Continuing Education as the academic group and all graduate summer courses can be found under Graduate School. Please note that new institutes begin weekly.
Students sign-up for classes through their Navigator accounts during their assigned registration periods. Please log into your Navigator account to search for class offerings. Tools such as schedule planner (available in Navigator to undergraduate students) may also assist you with planning your schedule.
