"In my time as an undergraduate accounting student at the Bertolon School of Business, I worked as a research assistant to Professor Tschakert, the Gassett-Schiller '83 Endowed Chair of the Accounting and Finance Department.
As part of this work, I developed research skills which enabled me to critically review academic papers and understand how to read through supporting data sets. Throughout our work, Professor Tschakert became a trusted mentor, helping me navigate academia and the accounting profession, introducing me to new research areas, and having me accompany several conferences important for prospective Ph.D. students."
