On this one-week healthcare studies trip you can learn more about our United States healthcare system by comparing it to another. Not only does Costa Rica have a universal system, they have a beautiful country and culture.
- Three credit course that can be used as either a major elective or free elective
- Focus on studying the healthcare system of Costa Rica, a Blue Zone country, with immersive professional experiences during spring break 2024
- Several cultural activities and sight seeing will be included in the trip (Likely including a volcano trip, coffee and chocolate farms, rain forest tours, and zip lining)
- We will have a better estimate of cost in early fall 2023. It will include air, ground transportation, lodging, most meals, and group activities. Please return to this page for updates.
- Level of Spanish: beginner to native speaker. There is no language requirement for this trip, but it’s a great way to start your Spanish speaking journey.
