Brian ’05 and Sarah ’06 Ortins first met in Meier Hall during the summer of 2004.
“I was studying in the hallway and Brian stopped to ask for directions, even though he knew exactly where he was going,” Sarah says. “It was definitely love at first sight. For our first date, we went to Victoria Station for dinner, the North Shore Music Theatre and ended the night talking at the Marblehead lighthouse. A year after our first date we got engaged at the lighthouse. We have been married for almost 13 years and have three wonderful kids. Salem State will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”
