Megan ‘10 and Mike ‘15 O’Brien met while they were at Salem State, and they are celebrating their five-year anniversary this year.
“I needed tutoring in Quantitative Analysis and my friends referred me to Mike since he was the smartest guy they knew,” Megan says.
“He tutored me in the simplex tableau method at lunch and helped me pass my test. We discovered we had the same January birthday so over winter break he invited me to go snowboarding with him to celebrate and that turned into our very first date. The next semester we decided to take some classes together (Java Programming and Tennis) and we have been inseparable ever since. We got married on our mutual birthday in 2015 and we celebrate our five-year anniversary this year.”
