Study Abroad Travel Funds Available for World Languages Majors

The department of world languages and cultures at Salem State has committed to providing $1,000 in travel support to any student enrolled in the BA in World Languages and Cultures who chooses to study abroad for a semester or a full year during the 2021-2022 academic year.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a full-time or part-time matriculated student at Salem State University, in good academic standing
  • Must be enrolled in the BA in World Languages and Cultures at Salem State
  • Must complete your application and be approved for a semester or year abroad; see the Study Abroad Coordinator in the Center for International Education

Application Process:

Contact the Chairperson of World Languages and Cultures Kenneth Reeds (kreeds@salemstate.edu) after you have completed your study abroad application and at least one month prior to your departure date.
