Salem State University will remain closed for day classes on Tuesday, January 27. Only designated essential personnel should report to work as scheduled. A decision on evening classes will be announced by 12 noon.
Statement from the MASCAC regarding 2020 spring season

Given the increasing number of confirmed cases and restrictions on the size of gatherings and school closures, the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) would not be able to provide a meaningful student-athlete experience. As such and with heavy hearts, the MASCAC will cancel the spring season and championships.
