Professor Stephen Young (geography and sustainability) and SSU alum (GIS Master’s) Jiachang Tu published the paper “Assessment of building damage and risk under extreme flood scenarios in Shanghai” with colleagues from Germany and China.
The genesis of the paper was Jiachang’s SSU Master’s thesis and she is now pursuing a Ph.D. from Ludwig-Maximilians University in Germany.
