Monday, October 7

Flag Raising Ceremony

11:30 am-12 pm | Alumni Plaza, North Campus

The flag-raising ceremony celebrates the start of National Coming Out Week. This Salem State tradition demonstrates our unwavering support for our LGBTQ+ students, faculty, and staff on campus.

Tuesday, October 8

Rainbow Resource Fair

11 am-2 pm | Alumni Plaza, North Campus (Rain Location: Ellison Campus Center Commuter Lounge)

Numerous organizations from throughout Salem, Boston, the greater North Shore area, as well as right here on campus will be present to meet students and discuss the various resources and services they offer. Some of the organizations will include NAGLY, Mass Transgender Coalition, North Shore Pride, and Fenway Health!

Wednesday, October 9

Coming Out Stories

4 pm-6:30 pm | Metro Room, Ellison Campus Center

Join The Alliance for Coming Out Stories: a safe space for students to talk about their coming out experiences and have open and honest discussions with other students.

Thursday, October 10

Netflix and Spill

5-7 pm | The LEAD Center for Cultural Enrichment in Ellison Campus Center

The LEAD office will be hosting members of the campus community as we watch two pivotal episodes of the Netflix show “One Day at a Time.” After the episodes are over, there will be a group discussion followed by refreshments!
