How to Find Help
The Student Wellness CARE office (Meier Hall 245A) serves as a hub for student well-being, connecting students to food, housing and emotional supports.
Salem State Food Pantry
The Salem State Food Pantry (Ellison Campus Center, Room 108A) provides nonperishable foods, personal care products, and other essentials to any student in need. Use your ClipperCard for food pantry access, and to access the Campus Center building on weekends.
The food pantry is open:
- Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-10 pm
- Saturday-Sunday, 10 am-10 pm
Salem Pantry Mobile Market
The Salem Pantry Mobile Market visits Salem State's campuses three times per week:
- Wednesdays, 12:30-1:30 pm, near the Marsh Quad, Harrington Campus
- Thursdays, 12:30-1:30 pm, South Campus
- Thursdays, 4-5 pm, near the Ellison Campus Center, North Campus
How to Give Help
Efforts are forming across the university to support our students in need. For help coordinating a drive or to volunteer your time, contact Ian Wong, director of Student Wellness CARE at 978.542.5385 or ian.wong@salemstate.edu.
Additional Ways to Help:
- Support the Salem State Food Pantry by giving directly or purchasing essentials from their Amazon Wish List.
- Donate to the Student Emergency Fund.
- Volunteer your time with the food pantry or participate in a coordinated drive.
