Faculty, librarians, and staff/administrators who were first-generation during their undergraduate college experience (neither parent/guardian received a bachelor's degree in the United States) are invited to join the Salem State chapter of Tri-Alpha (Alpha Alpha Alpha), the national first-generation honor society.
Details regarding the process can be found on the Tri-Alpha chapter website. Materials (membership form and lifetime dues) are due no later than Tuesday, January 6.
The initiation ceremony is scheduled for the early evening of Friday, January 30.
