With her colleagues, Dr. Shireen Al-Adeimi and Dr. Abby Reisman, Dr. Leslie Duhaylongsod published an article entitled, "Talk is Literacy." In this article, they share findings from their research on classroom discussions across the disciplines, and argue that discussion, that promotes learning, understanding, and reasoning, is necessary for promoting equity in classrooms.
