Dr. Lisa Delissio (biology) was interviewed by The Boston Globe for an article on her Salem arboretum project, where she engages in field research with her BIO 300 Botany students.
As the Globe explains, through her work, Salem has uncovered a lost history of botanical collecting, including an exchange relationship with the internationally recognized Arnold Arboretum.
