Submit a creative nonfiction essay of up to 3,000 words by no later than midnight on December 15, 2018 and you may win $500 just in time for the holidays.
Submit essays to BattenKenneyVeteransWritingCompetition@gmail.com by the date referenced above. Essays should be no more than 3,000 words, double-spaced., Times New Roman, 12 pt. font, with name, contact information (email and phone) and page numbers on the bottom of each page.
Essays can be on any subject, but they must classify as a creative nonfiction piece (please do not send research papers) and writers must be able to show proof of service to the United State Armed Forces and be currently enrolled at Salem State University.
