The World Needs You Here Walk in Salem 2026

Aug 02
Join the Student-Led (MHPAC) for the WNYH Walk!

Join SSU students of MHPAC and the CCE team for The World Needs You Here Walk and Roll! This walk is an annual community-wide event to spread awareness about mental health, mental wellness, and suicide prevention. Join the walk in loving memory of those we’ve lost to suicide. We come together as a community to support one another, talk openly about our experiences in a safe environment, and remind each other that we are not alone.

To join the MHPAC Team visit: Click register, join a team, and search: Salem State's MHPAC. If you are a Salem State student who wants to join but the registration fee is a barrier, please contact Kate Adams, Associate Director of the Center for Civic Engagement at kadams2@salemstate.edu for a free ticket! Transportation will be provided from campus to Salem Commons (N Washington Square, Salem, MA 01970). Email Kate for more details, meet-up locations, and to let the coalition know you are attending!
