We are thrilled to invite you to attend our upcoming workshops focused on Serving Immigrant Students (101 and 102). These workshops were designed to expand our knowledge and awareness of today’s immigrant students and the intersecting identities they hold, best practices for serving our immigrant students, as well as resources for fostering a sense of belonging and safety from an asset-based lens.
Serving Immigrant Students 101: June 5, 4-5 pm on Zoom
- Facilitated by Carlie Pierre, Director of Education and Training & Elisa Castillo, AVP for HSI-MSI Initiatives
Serving Immigrant Students 102: June 26, 4-5 pm on Zoom
- Facilitated by Elsabel Rincon, Director of the Welcome Immigrant Network
Our Serving Immigrant Students workshops aim to provide our faculty, student support staff, and administrators with comprehensive training to support our students as they navigate the various challenges they face effectively. We believe that your participation will equip you with the tools and resources to support our immigrant students in their academic and professional pursuits.
