Professor Amy Jo Minett hosts students from Gaza who have made it to Ireland and Italy late last fall, where they are now studying as part of the Gaza Scholarship Initiative for Displaced Students. The students will read their narratives of sumud, or resilience, and discuss their contributions to the forthcoming book Voices of Sumud: Teaching English Amidst Occupation in Palestine.
This event will take place on Zoom. Advance registration required. The link will be forwarded to registrants prior to the event.
