Welcome, New Faculty!
The Center for Teaching Innovation’s two-day, in-person orientation focuses on building meaningful connections: with our campus, students, colleagues, and the values that shape our work.
Who should attend?
This orientation is intended for faculty who are new to Salem State. Faculty members who joined the university in the past few years but have not yet attended orientation are also welcome and encouraged to participate.
What to expect:
- Opportunities to connect with faculty and staff
- Conversations about student-centered teaching and well-being
- An introduction to campus resources, support services, and the people who make them possible
- Time to reflect, ask questions, and build community
