Father Diab is the vicar of St. Andrew's church in Ramallah and St. Peter's church in Birzeit, both in the Israeli Occupied West Bank. Father Diab is visiting the US to speak about the Christian community's experience in the West Bank and Gaza and to advocate for his community. He will discuss the case of 23-year-old Layan Nasir, a parishioner in Birzeit who was taken at gunpoint from her home by Israeli soldiers and is currently being held in administrative detention. Father Diab is also vice president of the Al Ahli Hospital in Gaza and hopes to inform about the work the hospital is doing and its challenges given the situation in Gaza.
