Join Amplify Latinx in partnership with the Gaston Institute at UMass Boston, Salem State University, MassBudget, The Boston Foundation, the State House News Service, and MASSterList for an insightful and empowering event, “The Massachusetts Latino Electoral Project and Economic Empowerment Summit: Building a Brighter Future.”
As one of the featured panelists, Marcos Luna (geography and sustainability) will discuss a new report he co-authored with Salem State GIS graduate student Amina Miliani examining the geography and characteristics of micro-businesses across the Commonwealth, and the degree to which these small businesses, especially in underrepresented communities, were supported by federal pandemic aid.
