Lunch will be served at noon, and the program will begin promptly at 12:15 PM with an overview of Boston’s busing and desegregation history by Lew Finfer, Co-Chair of the Boston Desegregation and Busing Initiative and Director of Massachusetts Action for Justice, followed by a short clip from the Never Cried documentary
We will then hear firsthand reflections from Leola Hampton on her experiences navigating desegregation in Massachusetts. Come together with our campus community for conversation, learning, and reflection over a delicious Black History Month–themed lunch. All are welcome!
