Join us for an educational conversation on the deep connection of migrant justice and climate justice.
Thousands of people around the world continue to be displaced by extreme weather and environmental deterioration-the same people often criminalized and discriminated against. Join Professor Avi Chomsky for a talk on the global systemic link between displacement and climate change. Elsabel Rincon of Welcome Immigrant Network will speak from the local perspective on the work underway to support our neighbors.
Student Sabrina Zemlyansky will share how students can get involved.
Sponsored by the Intersectional Feminist Collective.
Organized by SAFE.
This event is part of Earth Days Week.
