In honor of Native American Heritage Month, join the Center for Justice and Liberation for a discussion about indigenous hand-poke tattooing from local Native American tattoo artist, Miciah Stasis!
Miciah Stasis Harding is from the Herring Pond Wampanoag Tribe of what is now Plymouth, Massachusetts. She is a traditional hand-poke tattoo artist and activist who has been part of the revitalization of traditional tattooing practices for the past four years. For over a decade, she has been dedicated to educating, teaching, and sharing knowledge about her people, their history, and their traditions. Through her work, Miciah strives to help reconnect her people to their culture, honor their ancestors, and carry their teachings forward for future generations.
