Faculty Internal Grants Deadline

Internal Grants | Spring 2024 Award Cycle

Salem State’s University Research Advisory Committee (URAC) administers three types of internal grants twice a year to support the research and creative activities of tenure-track or tenured faculty. New faculty and faculty who haven’t been awarded an internal grant are especially encouraged to apply.

Scholarship Support Grant

• Deadlines: October 15 and February 15
• Offered twice yearly, in fall and spring semesters
• Up to $1000 to promote scholarship, research, publication & creative work

Seed Grant

• Deadlines: October 15 and February 15
• Offered twice yearly, in fall and spring semesters
• Up to $3000 to fund research and other activities undertaken in preparation for application to external funding body

Summer Research and Creative Activities Grant

• Deadline: October 15
• Offered in the fall, to be used the following summer
• Up to $4000 to fund research or creative activities undertaken in summer & resulting in publication or presentation
