In this 60-minute virtual workshop, faculty will learn how to create accessible content in Word and Canvas. This foundational knowledge is a key building block for creating all kinds of accessible materials. We’ll begin by defining key terms and teaching skills, and then you’ll spend the rest of the time practicing your new skills.
Accessibility is a community effort that takes time, and CTI is here to support faculty in Salem State’s ongoing efforts to make learning more equitable. Join us for this introductory session to feel more confident about designing and updating courses that are accessible, inclusive, and ready for all students this semester and beyond.
