Each year, 24 of 26 paychecks have monthly union dues, Group Insurance Commission (GIC) premiums and Non-Unit dental deductions. On the Friday, December 6 paycheck, there will be no such deductions. Your insurance is still active and deductions will resume on the Friday, December 20 paycheck.
