The Center for Research and Creative Activities invites all students, faculty, and staff to participate in SSU's annual celebration of scholarship and creativity,
Research Day, held on Reading Day, May 3, 2024.
This is your chance to shine and showcase your academic work via posters, papers, performances, and panel discussions. Research isn't limited to empirical studies—it encompasses all scholarly and creative endeavors, making it an inclusive platform for everyone, regardless of field or discipline.
Why Participate?
- Showcase Your Work: Share your passion and contributions with our vibrant community.
- Network and Collaborate: Connect with peers, mentors, and potential collaborators from the Salem State community and beyond.

Who Can Participate?
- Students: Whether you're an undergraduate or graduate student, this is your opportunity to present your research and creative projects.
- Faculty and Staff: Share your expertise and research findings with colleagues and students, including previously published and/or presented work.
How to Register
- Undergraduate students:
- Coordinate your application with a faculty advisor (required)
- Submit the Undergraduate Research Symposium registration form by April 5 (extended deadline)
- Graduate students:
- Some graduate programs have specific plans for Research Day. Consult with your program faculty or coordinator if necessary.
- Submit the Faculty and Graduate Research Symposium registration form by April 5 (extended deadline)
- Faculty and staff:
- Register to showcase your work in a panel presentation or poster for the Faculty and Graduate Research Symposium by April 5 (extended deadline)
- Email citations from your 2023 publications to ssu-crca@salemstate.edu so we can celebrate your accomplishments at the Faculty Publication Celebration reception
