Internal Grants | Fall 2023 Deadline
Salem State’s University Research Advisory Committee (URAC) administers three types of internal grants twice a year to support the research and creative activities of tenure-track or tenured faculty and librarians. New faculty and faculty who haven’t been awarded an internal grant are especially encouraged to apply!
Applications for the fall 2023 internal grants cycle are due Saturday, October 15 at midnight.
Scholarship Support Grant
- Offered twice-yearly, in fall and spring semesters
- Up to $1000 to promote scholarship, research, publication & creative work
Seed Grant
- Offered twice-yearly, in fall and spring semesters
- Up to $3000 to fund research and other activities undertaken in preparation for application to external funding body
Summer Research and Creative Activities Grant
- Offered in the fall, to be used the following summer
- Up to $4000 to fund research or creative activities undertaken in summer & resulting in publication or presentation
