Dance Guest Artists Concert-Split Bill: Afmohip / Barbie Diewald

Jan 31

This performance will feature new work and repertory by choreographers Joanne (Jojo) Caidor (Visiting Lecturer in Dance, Salem State University) and Barbie Diewald (Associate Professor in Dance, Mt. Holyoke College).

Joined by an intergenerational cast, Barbie Diewald will present an excerpt of A Lexicon for Lesbian Aesthetics, an evening-length contemporary dance work which draws on Diewald's archival research on lesbian and queer women choreographers of the 1980s and 1990s.
