Advocating for Student Safety: Massachusetts Leaders Discuss Anti-Bullying, Phone-Free Schools, and Student Wellbeing

Jul 21

Join the Salem State Berry Institute of Politics (Berry IOP) and the Center for Interprofessional Education and Collaboration for an important advocacy forum featuring Massachusetts legislators discussing critical legislation to make our schools safer and more supportive learning environments.

Our distinguished speakers will address:

  • Education policy advocacy strategies with Rep. Cruz
  • Anti-bullying and school disciplinary reform (Bill H.4060) with Rep. Scanlon
  • Phone-free schools initiative (Bill S.323) with Sen. Crighton

This event brings together educators, students, advocates, and community members to learn how legislative action can create positive change in our schools and protect student well-being.

Discover how you can be part of the advocacy process to build safer, more inclusive educational environments for all students.

The Berry IOP will lead an advocacy session to take action on these bills now.
