About
Join us for a virtual event exploring the vital role expressive therapies play in comprehensive, client-centered care. This session brings together practitioners from music therapy, art therapy, and dance/movement therapy to share how their disciplines complement and collaborate with other health professionals in supporting clients across the lifespan.
At the end of this session participants will be able to:
Describe the core theoretical foundations and clinical applications of music therapy, art therapy, and dance/movement therapy across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Identify at least two strategies for integrating expressive therapy approaches into interprofessional, client-centered care plans alongside other health and rehabilitation professionals.
Analyze the collaborative role of expressive therapists within interprofessional teams, including referral pathways and communication practices that support coordinated, lifespan-spanning client outcomes.
