Each year, Salem State welcomes more than 1,000 transfer students to our community. Why should you transfer here? Explore our outstanding academic programs – we offer 29 majors and more than 59 minors. Take advantage of social opportunities outside of the classroom, such as athletics and recreation, residence life and more than 50 groups and clubs. Work with financial aid to discuss the best ways to fund your college education.

Starting May 2014, Salem State will offer a new full in-state day tuition free scholarship (currently valued at $910) to any Massachusetts community college student who has earned an associate's degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and transfers to the university within one year of completing that degree. Eligible full-time students would be awarded this scholarship, which covers 100 percent of tuition, for up to two years/four semesters.

If you were previously admitted and attended Salem State, but did not graduate, you are a readmit and do not apply through regular admissions. Please visit the academic advising website for further information or call 978.542.7049.
