Special public conference July 28-29 on the "Old China Trade to the New US-China Relations"
Cummings Foundation gift makes it possible
Recently, Salem State officials joined with a representative of the United Kingdom’s University of Nottingham to sign a memorandum of understanding that creates an official partnership between Salem State’s Center for Childhood and Youth Studies and the University of Nottingham’s Children and Childhood Network. The new alliance will allow increased international opportunities for both faculty and students, including research projects, travel, publishing, teaching, and student learning.
The team of service representatives and content specialists from the registrar, bursar, ClipperCard, and financial aid offices is ready to serve our students and other community members. The center is located on Central Campus in the Classroom Building on the second floor.
Cummings Foundation this month selected Salem State University as the first organization to be awarded a grant through its new Major Grants Program, with a commitment of $1 million.
Salem State University's Upward Bound program will be participating in the 2014 USDA Summer Food Program for Children. Free meals will be provided to eligible attending children aged 13-18 years old without regard to race, color, sex, national origin, age, or disability. There will be no discrimination in the meal service.
