Salem State and English University to Collaborate

Recently, Salem State officials joined with a representative of the United Kingdom’s University of Nottingham to sign a memorandum of understanding that creates an official partnership between Salem State’s Center for Childhood and Youth Studies and the University of Nottingham’s Children and Childhood Network. The new alliance will allow increased international opportunities for both faculty and students, including research projects, travel, publishing, teaching, and student learning.


Student Navigation Center is Now Open

The team of service representatives and content specialists from the registrar, bursar, ClipperCard, and financial aid offices is ready to serve our students and other community members. The center is located on Central Campus in the Classroom Building on the second floor.


Salem State Names New Chief Financial Officer

Salem State University President Patricia Maguire Meservey today announced that Karen House of Keene, NH will join the university‘s administrative team, serving as chief financial officer beginning September 2. House is currently the associate vice president for finance and planning at Keene State College.

State Representative John D. Keenan to Serve as Salem State University’s New Vice President for Administration

Salem State University today announced that after an extensive national search, Massachusetts state representative for the 7th Essex District, John D. Keenan, has been selected for the position of vice president for administration. The position, which reports directly to President Patricia Maguire Meservey, is a critical one in the administration; responsible for the university’s day-to-day operations in support of its academic mission.
